In the fall of 2020, I was finally going to participate in the famous Inktober challenge. On September 27, a 44-day war broke out in Nagorno-Karabakh. This war determined the way I approached the challenge. Each day, I used Inktober prompts to draw and discuss the events unfolding in Nagorno-Karabakh day by day. The challenge not only helped me channel my frustration but also allowed me to explore ink in a new way.
